Boxing in the great outdoors

Mike Reynolds, 58, from Venice, works out on the heavy bag at Venice's Muscle beach on Monday. Reynolds works out at muscle beach practically every day. He is recovering from recent back surgery and is working on rehabilitating his back. " I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for this place," he comments. With a senior citizens and disability discount Reynolds pays only $65.00 per year for his membership at Muscle Beach, a public park.He says he couldn't afford rehabilitation therapy and Venice was the only thing that hr could afford.
