Twealve Santa Monica Service clubs raised money and competed amongst each other to see who could raise the most money during the Salvations Army Red Kettle Day on Friday December 9, 2005 at First Private Bank and Trust. The twelve service clubs raised more than $31,000 during the event. Leading the way was the Rotary Club of Santa Monica with $7027.00, followed by the Kiwanis of Santa Monica with $5609. In third place was the Santa Monica Lions club with $2550.
