On Tuesday, the crew from Bragg Crane and Rigging Co. lifted this large piece of telephone equipment onto the roof top of this three story building.  The building is located on  the corner of Broadway and third street  in Santa Monica.

Santa Monica College Theatre Arts students perform a number from ‘La Cage aux Folles’ during the Musical Theatre Workshop this week in the SMC Concert Hall. Directed by Perviz Sawoski, professor and chair of the theatre arts department, the company interpreted more than 20 skits and numbers from various musicals.

Blue Monday

A ceremonial lighting event with over 6,000 blue light bulbs was lit up on the Farris wheel at the Santa Monica Pier on Monday in calibration of "Blue Monday," the kickoff of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Los Angeles' holiday season campaign, "A Season of Wishes."

Bushman in Venice

William Lahai Fahnbulleh, a comedian and actor who comes from Liberia, entertains people at Venice Beach on Sunday, November 20, 2005, acting like an African Bushman. Fahnbulleh often performs stand up comedy at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood.  Fahnbulleh just graduated from Los Angeles City College with a certificate as a paralegal. He plans on continuing to study  and hopes to receive a bachelors in paralegal studies and go to law school.

Eviction Sale

Brian Yaeger, tenant at 125 Pacific, takes part in an "Eviction Sale" on Saturday. Yaeger has been living at 125 for over 2 year. He is currently looking for a new apt. All tenant must be out by January 15. Courtyard apartments will be demolished to make room for a new multi story building.
