Homeless sweet homeless
Patricia Prather, 53, who hails from Los Vegas, pushes her carts carrying her belongings along the Santa Monica boardwalk on Friday, June 23, 2006. Prather has been homeless for 9 months due to an eviction, were she was paying $400.00 per month for her room. Prathers receives assistance from a Santa Monica women's program, but no lodging is provided. She sleeps along the beach. "Its damp and cold out here," she says. Prathers is a vary lovely soft-spoken women, who keeps her self and her belongings extremely clean and tightly. May she find a home soon.
