Over one thousand people waited in line for the new T-Mobile Sidekick 3 during the pre-sale event in Santa Monica on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Customers camped out all night in front of the T-mobile store on Wilshire Bl. to insure getting the new Sidekick 3. The line ran from Wilshire Bl.,  down Forth Street all the way to California Ave. T-Mobile sold out of the Sidekick in only a few hours. Customers  had to be turned away. The phone is only available for current Sidekick users. The rest of the public will have to wait until July 10th to buy a Sidekick 3.  The Sidekick 3 sells for $300.00 with a two year contract.
