Pier Closed for 911
The Santa Monica Pier was closed on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 for saftey precaution against possible 911 terrorist attacks to the world famous landmark. Only delivery vehicle were allowed to enter the pier for drop-offs. The pier parking has been closed since Sunday for 911.
