Bicyclists gain momentum just south of the Santa Monica Pier on Saturday May 13, 2006, following the 7 a.m. start time for the ‘Santa Monica Tour de Cure.’ The 50-mile-long race traveled along the coast of Southern California, raising money in the fight against diabetes.
