Freeway La Mode Fashion Show






Santa Monica College fashion students show off their creations during the "2006 Freeway LA MODE Fashion Show" spotlighting students cutting-edge designs in four categories - red carpet, cocktail, resort, and contemporary, on Tuesday, December 5 2006 in front of the SMC Theatre Arts Building. More than 90 garments were shown by the students. All attire was designed and created by approximate 25 fashion students.

One of two CL-415 “SuperScoopers” drops a trail of water into the Santa Monica Bay, just off the pier, on Monday, December 4, 2006 as part of a demonstration before the leased firefighting aircrafts are returned to Service Aerien Gouvernmental de Quebec in Canada. For the past 11 years, the LA County Fire Department has leased two SuperScoopers to fight wildfires.
