Hare Krishna's pull three fully decorated, four-story chariots leading a colorful parade from the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium and proceeded to the Ocean Front Walk Plaza in Venice on Sunday, July 30, 2006 during the 30th Annual Festival of Chariots. There was a free vegetarian feast for thousands, dancing, exhibits and entertainment. The festival celebrates Lord Jagannatha, the Lord of the Universe, and is put on by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). The Festival of the Chariots is now performed in every country across the world and dates back 5 thousand of years to Jagannatha Puri, India.
