Santa Monica Police Department K9 Officer Ken Sickles' partner Buddy, a 10 year-old Belgian Malinois -who is trained to find explosives, takes a break during the Santa Monica Police Activities League's 3rd Annual PALpalooza at Pacific Park on Tuesday, June 26, 2007. All proceeds from the event will go to the Santa Monica PAL for their development and maintenance of cultural, educational and recreational programs. PAL provides free programs to more that 1,600 youths in the Santa Monica area.
