The world eagerly watched as YOSHI participated in the YOSHIKI SUPERSTAR PROJECT X, a talent show hosted by YOSHIKI, and emerged victorious in the vocalist category, mesmerizing the judges and viewers alike with his undeniable talent.
Tragically, on November 5, 2022, a devastating incident occurred, shaking the hearts of fans worldwide. Reports indicate that, around midnight, YOSHI's motorcycle collided with a truck at an intersection in Tama Ward, Kawasaki City. Swift action from emergency responders led to his immediate transport to a nearby hospital. This heartbreaking event has left a deep void in the industry and the hearts of fans who cherished YOSHI's extraordinary talents.

Experience the Thrilling Fusion of Dance and Martial Arts at the Capoeira Angola Fellowship Roda
Santa Monica Beach came alive with vibrant energy on Sunday, July 9, 2023, as numerous groups gathered for a captivating event—the Capoeira Angola Fellowship Roda. Enthusiasts of this distinctive art form flocked to the beach, basking in the glorious sunshine while immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of Capoeira Angola.
Capoeira Angola, an art form that seamlessly weaves together dance, martial arts, acrobatics, ritual, and music, took center stage. Skilled practitioners, referred to as "Capoeiristas" or "Angoleiros," demonstrated their prowess through a game of strategic movements. With agility and technique, they deftly manipulated their fellow players, skillfully positioning them into vulnerable states, where powerful headbutts, kicks, or sweeps could be executed. Interestingly, only the hands, head, and feet were permitted to make contact with the ground during the game, emphasizing the fluidity and dexterity inherent in Capoeira Angola.
Notably, the essence of Capoeira Angola lies in the artful suggestion of strikes rather than actual physical contact. This unwritten rule promotes an elevated sense of honor, especially when an opponent has been artfully maneuvered into an indefensible position. The interplay of strikes, evasions, and counter-strikes, intricately entwined with acrobatic and dance maneuvers, imbued the game with an air of unpredictability and grace, leaving spectators in awe.
The heart of the action unfolded within the circular arena known as the "Roda." Within this sacred space, all participants were actively engaged, each contributing their unique role. Two players engaged in the captivating game, their movements harmoniously synchronized. Eight skilled musicians provided an enchanting musical backdrop, expertly playing their diverse instruments. Meanwhile, spectators encircled the players, their watchful eyes captivated by the unfolding spectacle. Amidst the cheers and applause, these observers also lent their voices, harmonizing in song, creating an immersive atmosphere.
The fluidity of roles within the roda added another layer of complexity to the event. Participants seamlessly transitioned between various roles, necessitating proficiency in all facets of Capoeira Angola. In one moment, an individual might be skillfully playing an instrument, their rhythmic contribution resonating through the air. Yet, within mere minutes, that same person could find themselves in the center of the circle, locked in a dynamic exchange with an opponent. Just as swiftly, they might assume the role of a captivated spectator or return to the melodic rhythms of their chosen instrument.
As the sun cast its warm glow over Santa Monica Beach, the Capoeira Angola Fellowship Roda epitomized the captivating beauty and unyielding spirit of this unique art form. Participants and spectators alike reveled in a truly mesmerizing experience, an event that epitomized the rich heritage and boundless creativity of Capoeira Angola.
